It’s Christmas! Ten original, percussion-based, Christmas-themed pieces suitable for pupils in years 5, 6, 7 and 8. Ideal for Christmas shows, carol services, reviews and Christmas-themed music lessons. Minimal resources are required, only bells, chime bars, cymbals, glockenspiels, triangles and claves/woodblocks and not all are needed for every piece! Pupils learn about the percussion family, how to play their instruments correctly, how to read, play and perform using lettered score with the option of a traditional notated music score. Pupils also learn to use range of musical terms and signs. Each piece has detailed step-by-step instructions and printable scores. In order to support your delivery, you will find MIDI file recordings of each song. You do not need a musical background to perform these compositions.
